Here at Enterprise DNA, we strive to deliver content and resources that bring the best value to our members and the community. We believe in contributing as much as we can to our members’ learning and development and aim to create a difference by providing all tools necessary to help everyone become the data professionals they strive to be.

This is the reason why for the past years, we have made the videos within our learning portal available for members to download and review at their own convenience. This, we believe, is in the spirit of flexibility and accessibility, allowing members to learn at their own pace and convenience.

However, we have also been dealing with piracy issues that has left Enterprise DNA in a vulnerable state and is threatening not only the viability of our business model, but also the exclusivity that members are enjoying. This is why we will be removing the download option for our videos for now until we implement a better solution to allow members to continue enjoying the learning materials offline.

We understand that this may be inconvenient for some, but know that we are already actively pursuing different options that could create a better and safer experience for all of us. One such possibility is the implementation of a mobile download system used by video content providers like Netflix, which will give members content on demand while also ensuring the security and business longevity for Enterprise DNA.

    I certainly believe that this is a great step to curb piracy issues facing by Enterprise DNA. However, pls understand that Enterprise DNA is education platform and video/content used by many of the subscribers are also for troubleshooting the bugs/issues and sometime require as ready reckoner even while offline/no internet connectivity. Netflix is the entertainment portal where the objective of user is for refreshment and internet connectivity can be made mandatory in that case.

    I certainly hope that Sam and its team definitely find the best solution in the favour of both users as well as platform.

      Thanks very much for your input. Our top priority at the moment is getting the new eDNA website rolled out within the next 1-2 months. Subsequent to that, we will turn our attention to implementing other platform development enhancements, such as this.
