The last Enterprise DNA free workshop session was a really great event, so I’ve decided to run another one before the end of this month.
During this next session – Effective Power BI Reporting – I’ll be running through many of my best practice techniques around building valuable Power BI solutions.
Now this doesn’t just mean creating a good model, or implementing advanced DAX or developing a nice dashboard, it means combining all of these things at once, because in my view that’s what you need to do to really create great Power BI reports and solutions.
So I’m going to run through a number of my best practices when I develop Power BI reports & dashboards that enable these types of solutions. I’ll show you how to put a quick fire data model together that actually works as expected, then we’ll run through many DAX formula that produce insights that are actually interesting and meaningful, and then finally I’ll run through how to create great looking reports.
From the last session – Dashboard Makeover Session in Power BI – you’ll remember that I’m big on making sure your reports look good. To do that well over and over again for each of your reports there’s a few things you should try to do and I’ll go through those with you. Obviously there’s always a bit of personal preference with the visualization piece, but I’m sure you might pick up one or two things (or many) that will really help here.
If you can’t make the exact time I’ll be sending out a replay. I’ll also be making the resource available to those who register to come, so you can watch me go through the solution and then review it again while either watching the replay or in time as you develop your own solutions.
Ok, that’s enough from me, more details, dates & times and registration can be completed here – Effective Power BI Reporting
